Dumbstruck

Our midnight showing of "The Dark Knight" let out a little over two hours ago. Everyone's safe at home now; sadly, some of us have work in the morning so there won't be much sleep to be had. Also, it's nearly 4:45am as I write this, so forgive the incoherence and rambling.

I really can't find the words to describe this film. Everybody who knows me is used to me getting crazy over these comic book movies (thank you for indulging me). Most of you know what a big Batman fan I am by now.

This movie blew me away.

I don't know what else to say. This is a pointless blog post. I just can't get over it.

KNEEL

... because that is what one does before Zod. The rogue Kryptonian general and nemesis of Superman is probably best known from his appearance in Superman II but he's been around a bit longer than that. Like Lex Luthor and Dr. Doom, Zod speaks to my appreciation for arrogant, intelligent, cold & calculating super-villains.

There's probably something profoundly wrong with me.
